Marquee Insurance Group (MIG) is an independent commercial insurance agency founded in 2014 and headquartered in Roswell, Georgia. We place coverage for owner-operators, new authorities, and fleets in 48 states — and we don’t write anything else.
Founded From Inside the Industry
MIG was founded in 2014 by Kevin Nolan, the founder of Nolan Transportation Group (NTG) and OTR Solutions. Running a freight brokerage and a factoring company put those teams in daily contact with thousands of motor carriers — and it made one problem hard to ignore: trucking insurance was being sold by generalist agents who didn’t understand the business.
Marquee was started to fix that. From day one the agency has done one thing — commercial trucking insurance — and built its team, its carrier relationships, and its technology around the way carriers actually operate.
Today MIG is part of the Rhino Family of Companies alongside OTR Solutions, and works closely with NTG, DAT Freight & Analytics, and other partners so a carrier’s insurance, factoring, and freight tools fit together instead of fighting each other.
