Do I need insurance experience to work at MIG?
For most roles, no. MIG hires for work ethic and people skills and teaches the insurance. Licensed candidates are welcome and tend to ramp faster.
Does MIG hire new graduates?
Yes. Many of the team started right out of school. MIG recruits on campus across Georgia, the Carolinas, and Alabama — including the University of Georgia, Georgia Southern, Georgia College & State University, Kennesaw State, Dalton State, Auburn, College of Charleston, Coastal Carolina, and The Citadel — and accepts direct applications any time.
What does the first year at MIG look like?
Training on trucking insurance and MIG’s systems, then real accounts with a team lead alongside you. Most people are working independently well inside the first year.
