Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you use marqueeig.com. Last updated October 21, 2026.

The short version: MIG is an independent insurance agency, not an insurance company. Information on this site is general and is not a policy or a guarantee of coverage. Quotes and tools are estimates. Nothing is bound, changed, or cancelled until confirmed in writing, and claims must be reported directly to your insurance company. If you are a client, your signed documents and your policy control.

01Who We Are

Marquee Insurance Group, LLC (“MIG,” “we,” “us”) is an independent insurance agency licensed in the states where it does business. Licensing information is available on request.

MIG is not an insurance company. We do not issue policies, set premiums, make underwriting decisions, or decide claims. Coverage is provided by the insurance companies and Managing General Agencies (together, “insurance companies”) that we represent, and is subject to their underwriting, policy terms, conditions, exclusions, and availability in your state.

02Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of marqueeig.com and the forms, tools, calculators, chat, and other online features we make available (together, the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

If you use the Site on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that business.

03General Information Only

Content on the Site, including coverage descriptions, articles, guides, the Trucking Terms glossary, and examples, is general information provided for convenience. It is not a policy, does not change any policy, and is not legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory advice. Coverage descriptions and examples are simplified and may not reflect the terms of any particular policy.

If anything on the Site conflicts with your policy, the policy controls. For FMCSA, DOT, or state regulatory requirements, confirm with the agency involved or your attorney. Required federal and state insurance filings are made by the insurance company, not by MIG.

The definitions and material on the Site make no warranty as to state or federal law. Coverages vary by location, insurance company, policy, and individual business. Please talk to a licensed agent about the coverages available in your state.

04Quotes, Estimates & Tools

Quote requests, premium ranges, cost information, the Trucking Expense Calculator, and other tools on the Site are estimates for general planning only. They are not offers of insurance, binders, or guarantees of price or availability.

Premiums and terms are set by the insurance company and may change or be withdrawn at any time before coverage is bound, including after underwriting review, a motor vehicle record or loss history review, or the receipt of additional information.

05No Coverage Until Bound

Submitting a request through the Site, email, chat, text message, voicemail, or any other channel does not bind, change, or cancel coverage. Submission of a bind request and receipt of payment do not constitute confirmation of coverage. Coverage is bound only upon issuance of a binder and/or policy number by the insurance company, and changes are effective only when confirmed in writing.

Do not dispatch or operate any vehicle in reliance on a quote, a request, a payment receipt, or a certificate of insurance before coverage is confirmed. Any operation before confirmation of coverage is at your own risk.

06Information You Provide

You agree that all information you or anyone acting for you provides to MIG, through the Site or otherwise, is true, accurate, and complete, and that you will promptly update it if it changes. This includes operating radius, commodities hauled, vehicle and equipment information, driver information and history, loss history, prior insurance, garaging locations, ownership, and DOT/MC authority.

MIG and the insurance companies rely on this information to quote, place, and service coverage. MIG does not independently verify it. Inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information may result in additional premium, denial of a claim, rescission, or cancellation by the insurance company.

07Your Signed Documents Control

If you are an MIG client, the documents you sign or accept in connection with your insurance, such as your proposal package and binding acknowledgments (your “Signed Documents”), also apply to your relationship with MIG. If these Terms conflict with your Signed Documents, your Signed Documents control to the extent of the conflict.

Your coverage is governed only by your policy, which is issued by your insurance company. Nothing on the Site or in these Terms changes the terms of your policy.

08Claims

Claims must be reported directly to your insurance company’s claims department or third-party administrator, and auto liability claims must be reported promptly. Reporting a claim to MIG, including through the Site, email, chat, or phone, does not file the claim with your insurance company.

Our Claims page lists claims reporting contacts for many, but not all, of the insurance companies we work with. Your policy and binding documents always include your insurance company’s claims contact. All claim decisions, including coverage and payment, are made by the insurance company.

09Certificates of Insurance

Certificates of insurance requested or issued through the Site or the Client Portal are issued as a convenience based on information available at the time of issuance. A certificate is not confirmation that coverage is bound, does not amend, extend, or alter any policy, and confers no rights on the certificate holder. Coverage is confirmed only by the insurance company’s binder or issued policy.

10Email, Text & Phone Communications

Email. By providing your email address, you agree that MIG may email you about quotes, your policy, renewals, billing, and service, as well as newsletters and other information that may interest you. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email. Policy, billing, and service emails will continue while you are a client.

Text messages. If you provide a mobile number, you agree that MIG team members may contact you by text message about your quote, policy, or account. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing insurance.

Phone. By providing a phone number, you agree that MIG may call you about your quote, policy, or account. Calls with MIG may be monitored and recorded for quality, training, and record-keeping purposes. By communicating with MIG by phone, you consent to this monitoring and recording.

Requests by message. Coverage cannot be bound, changed, or cancelled by email, text, chat, or voicemail until confirmed in writing by MIG or the insurance company. Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or other sensitive information by text, chat, or unencrypted email.

Electronic records. You consent to receive notices, disclosures, and documents electronically, and agree that electronic signatures and records have the same effect as ink signatures and paper records.

11Portals, Partners & Third-Party Sites

The Site links to services operated by others, including client and payment portals, insurance company websites and portals, premium finance companies, and partner businesses. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. MIG does not control and is not responsible for their content, availability, products, or services, and a link is not an endorsement.

MIG may have business relationships with, and may receive compensation from, some partners and insurance companies. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your accounts.

12How MIG Is Compensated

MIG generally receives a commission from the insurance company on policies placed through us, and may receive other compensation from insurance companies or partners. Any fee charged by MIG is disclosed in your Signed Documents before you agree to it.

13Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Site for any unlawful purpose; submit false or misleading information or impersonate any person or business; interfere with or disrupt the Site or its security; upload malicious code; use automated tools to scrape, copy, or collect content or data from the Site; or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data. We may suspend or restrict access to the Site for any violation of these Terms.

14Intellectual Property

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, and design, are owned by MIG or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print content for your own business use; you may not copy, modify, distribute, or republish it without our written permission. 15Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information, and is part of these Terms.

16Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MIG DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. MIG does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that content is current.

17Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MIG AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND LICENSED PRODUCERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE, INCLUDING LOST LOADS OR CONTRACTS, LOST REVENUE OR WAGES, LOSS OF USE, DOWNTIME, OPERATIONAL COSTS, OR HARM TO BUSINESS REPUTATION. MIG’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

This section applies to your use of the Site. Your Signed Documents govern any other matters between you and MIG.

18Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MIG and its owners, officers, employees, and licensed producers from any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or any inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you or on your behalf.

19Governing Law, Venue & Jury Waiver

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute with MIG arising from or related to these Terms or the Site is the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waive any objection based on venue or inconvenient forum.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AND MIG EACH WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY. You and MIG each agree that any dispute will be brought only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding.

20Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date and apply from that date. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

21General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, that part will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the rest of these Terms will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. Sections that by their nature should survive, including those on claims, certificates, warranties, liability, indemnification, and disputes, survive any termination of your use of the Site. Headings are for convenience only.
